Do Not Change the MIDI Split Screen Active Staff when Changing Measures

IWBNI the staff for which MIDI data is being displayed in the upper half of the MIDI split screen (referred to here as the active staff) were not changed automatically under any conditions when the current measure number is changed in scroll view.

As it is now, when there are notes in each staff for the current measure (which is specified by the Measure text box at the bottom of the document window), one may specify which staff is to be the active staff by clicking the vertical scroll bar or exiting the MIDI split screen and then re-entering the MIDI split screen by double-clicking the desired staff.

Also, as it is now, when the view percentage is such that more than one staff is displayed in the lower half of the MIDI split screen in scroll view, the active staff will be changed automatically to the first staff from the top of those staves that are being displayed for which there are notes in the measure specified in the Measure text box.

As a result, when one double-clicks a staff with the MIDI tool to open the MIDI split screen in scroll view, and the view percentage is such that more than one staff is displayed in the lower half of the MIDI split screen, the staff that has been double clicked will not necessarily become the active staff. Also, the active staff will be changed automatically to the topmost staff that has notes in the current measure when scrolling horizontally from one measure to the next.

This feature could be implemented by extending the existing interface which may be used to specify the active staff, to the case when some staves do not have notes in the current measure, and by disabling the mechanism that automatically changes the active staff to the topmost staff that has notes in the current measure.
