IWBNI it were possible to double-click a measure of a staff that is being displayed in the lower half of the MIDI split screen to specify which staff is to be the active staff. Here, "active staff" means the staff for which MIDI data is being displayed in the upper half of the MIDI split screen.

As it is now, one can change the active staff by clicking the scroll bar or exiting the MIDI split screen and then re-entering the MIDI split screen by double-clicking the desired staff.
