An Explorer for Text Blocks

IWBNI there were a dialog box that could be used to view and edit a list of all text blocks and settings for such. As it is now, to edit a given text block, one must select the text tool, identify and select the appropriate view (i.e. Page View for a page-assigned text block or Scroll View for a measure-assigned text block), navigate to the text block handle, and double click the handle, or click the handle and select Edit Text from the Frame menu.

This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Text Block Explorer to the Plug-ins menu. This menu item would display a new dialog box called Text Block Explorer that would contain a list box of all text blocks with settings for various properties organized in columns.

For example, one might choose to display the following columns of data.

The Explorer for Text Expressions dialog box in the TGTools third-party plug-in by Tobias Giesen could serve as a model. See also Suggestion 441.
