A Search Tool for Options

IWBNI there were a search tool for options. For example, if one entered a keyword such as "clef", the search tool could produce a list of all the possible items that could be set that are related to clefs. Double-clicking an item in the list would take the user to the appropriate dialog box where the option could be set. For example, for "clef", the list could be:

1. Clef Designer
- design one of 8 possible clefs
* symbol used for clef
* middle C position (from top staff line)
* clef vertical position (from top staff line)
* extra distance for mid-measure clef

2. Document Options
- display all courtesy clefs at end of staff systems
- display clef only on first staff system

3. Music Options
- space before all clefs
- space after all clefs

4. Notation Options
- alteration of clef symbols for clef change
* percent reduction
* vertical offset

5. Repeat Bars
- space between all clefs and repeat bars

6. Staff Attributes
- initial clef for a given staff
- hide/display all clefs on a given staff

7. Music Spacing Options
- avoid all collisions of clefs

8. Clef Tool/Change Clef
- change clef of a measure or block of measures
- insert a mid-measure clef
- create a hidden clef

9. Measure Attributes
- hide cautionary clefs associated with a given measure

If one entered the keywords "clef" and "cautionary", the following smaller list could be displayed:

1. Document Options
- display all courtesy clefs at end of staff systems

2. Measure Attributes
- hide cautionary clefs associated with a given measure
