IWBNI tempo changes that are created by using the tempo tool were automatically saved in MIDI files.

As it is now, this is not the case. It is possible to force such information to be included in MIDI files by inserting a hidden expression at the beginning of a piece for which the Playback Options are set to Play Tempo Tool Changes.
