IWBNI the tablature feature of Finale were completely redesigned to include many of the features and functions of the following tablature programs:

• StringWalker by Alain Veylit
• Fronimo by Francesco Tribioli

• A keyboard shortcut to move a given note from one string to another.
• An option to use letters in spaces instead of numbers on strings.
• An option to reverse the order in which strings are indicated.
• Allow letters or numbers to be used for bass strings.
• Allow tab styles and instrument definitions to be saved.
• Allow tablature to be exported in common formats such as Wayne Cripps tab, StringWalker, and Fronimo.
• Provide a set of predefined tablature styles that emulate famous manuscripts.
• Allow stems to be added to tablature notation that has already been created.
