Allow a Given Tie to be Attached to Nonadjacent Notes
IWBNI it were possible to attach a given tie to nonadjacent notes.
This feature would be useful, for example when notating a measured arpeggio as shown in the following figure:
This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Connect Tie to Next Matching Pitch to the Special Tools menu. This menu item would be enabled when the tie tool is the current tool and at least one tie handle has been selected. This command would cause the right tip of a given selected tie to become attached to the next note after the tie that matches the pitch of the note to which the left tip of the tie is attached.
