Add a Polychord Option to the Chord Definition Dialog Box
IWBNI there were options to specify that the alternate bass of a given chord is to indicate a complete chord with an optional suffix.
This could be implemented by adding the following controls (shown in bold face) to the Chord Definition dialog box:
---------------------------------------------
Chord Definition Dialog Box
Settings:
[ ] Alternate Bass _____ Alteration _____ [Listen...]
[ ] Lowercase
[ ] Put Under Root
[ ] Bass Chord
Suffix ID: _____ [Select...]
Play:
[ ] Root
[ ] Chord Suffix
[ ] Alternate Bass
[ ] Bass Chord Suffix
---------------------------------------------
The checkbox Bass Chord could be selected to specify that the alternate bass indicates a complete chord rather than a single note. Also, the text box Suffix ID could be used to specify a suffix for the alternate bass chord. If the checkbox Bass Chord is selected and the checkbox Alternate Bass in the Play section of the dialog box is selected, the complete bass chord would be played. If the checkbox Bass Chord is selected and the checkbox Bass Chord Suffix in the Play section of the dialog box is selected, the bass chord suffix would be played.
