IWBNI MIDI continuous data could be associated with a particular layer. As it is now, all MIDI continuous data for a given staff is played on the Expressions channel that is assigned in the Instrument List window.
Suppose that for a given staff, layer 1 is set to play on MIDI channel 1 and layer 2 set to play on MIDI channel 2. And, that the layers correspond to the 2 "voices" in a guitar piece. Further, suppose that an up-stemmed (layer-1) note must bend while a down-stemmed (layer-2) bass note continues to ring. If MIDI continuous data could be associated with a particular layer, one could use this feature to obtain the desired MIDI performance.
