Do Not Erase Guide Lines when an Object is Moved with a Special Tool

IWBNI a guide line that is located in the neighborhood of a given special tool handle, and has been created or moved just prior to moving the special tool handle were not erased when the handle is nudged or dragged.

As it is now, such guide lines are erased as a result of nudging or dragging a special tool handle. For example, this happens when the following steps are performed:

  1. Check to be sure that on the Redraw Options dialog box, all items in the Redraw Control section are unchecked, and all items in the Draw section are checked.

  3. Enter four quarter notes C, C#, C, and C in a 4/4 measure.

  5. Select the menu item View>Show Guides.

  6.  
  7. Select the accidental mover special tool.

  8.  
  9. Click the 4/4 measure to display the accidental handles in the measure.

  10.  
  11. Create a horizontal or vertical guide line, or move an existing guide line, so that it crosses the sharp or is in the neighborhood of the sharp.

  12.  
  13. Click and drag the handle for the sharp, or click and nudge the handle using the arrow keys. As a result of this operation, the guide line will be erased in the neighborhood of the sharp.
Note: This also happens when using the following special tools: notehead position, stem length, broken beam, stem direction, double/split stem, reverse stem, beam angle, secondary beam break, beam extension, secondary beam angle, tie, dot, beam width, and beam stem adjust.
