IWBNI it were possible to specify that a given tie should be either shifted or not shifted automatically for a second interval, to override the default behavior that is controlled by the checkbox Shift for Seconds on the Tie Options dialog box. As it is now, the tie tool may be used to adjust the position of any tie.

This would be useful for those who prefer to shift ties for seconds only in certain cases (e.g. when ties are ultra short).

This could be implemented by adding a listbox called Shift for Seconds to the Tie Alterations dialog box that could contain the items: Default, On and Off.
