Add a Dialog Box to Display Font Usage and Availability

IWBNI there were a dialog box to indicate which fonts in the list of fonts for a given document are actually used within the document and are available for use on the current system.

As it is now, the menu item TGTools>Miscellaneous>Font Info of the TGTools third-party plug-in by Tobias Giesen may be used to display the list of fonts for a given document. No indication is provided on this dialog box as to whether or not a given font is actually used or available.

This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Font List to the View menu that would display a new dialog box called Font List that could contain the following controls:

--------------------------------
Font List Dialog Box

In Use Type Font Name Available Substitute
X Partita X |Font Drop Down List|
  Sonata X |Font Drop Down List|
  EngraverFontSet X |Font Drop Down List|
X TimesEuropa Roman   |Font Drop Down List|
Times New Roman X |Font Drop Down List|
X Bodoni X |Font Drop Down List|
X BodoniTwelTC   |Font Drop Down List|
  Calisto   |Font Drop Down List|
X Gill Sans X |Font Drop Down List|
  Arial X |Font Drop Down List|

[Remove All Not In Use]
[Remove All Not In Use and Not Available]

[Activate Fonts In Use]

[OK] [Cancel] [Apply Substitutions]
--------------------------------

Red would indicate fonts which are in use but not available. Green would indicate fonts which are in use and available.

The drop-down list boxes in the column Substitute could be used to substitute any available font for a font in the list. Note: Both truetype and postscript fonts would be included in this list for any font for which both types are available.

In the case when the Adobe Type Manager program is in use, the button Activate Fonts In Use would be activated. This button would automatically activate all fonts that are in use but have not been activated by the Adobe Type Manager.

The Apply Substitutions button would apply all changes that have been made in the Substitute column and update all other columns of the table as needed.

The button Remove All Not In Use would remove all fonts from the fonts list that are not in use. The button Remove All Not In Use and Not Available would remove all fonts that are both not in use and not available.

Note: If the operation Options>Data Check>Remove Deleted Items has been performed just prior to opening the Font List dialog box, there would be no fonts in the list on the Font List dialog box for which the In Use column is unchecked.

Note: The Font List dialog box could be used to substitute one font for another. Changes to the size or style of a font could be made by the existing menu item Options>Data Check>Swap One Font for Another.
