Clicking Notes Outside of the Staff to Open the Speedy Entry Editing Frame

IWBNI there were an option to allow one to click an existing note that is above or below the staff to open the speedy entry editing frame. As it is now, to open the speedy entry editing frame for a given measure, one may click the plus-sign shaped cursor when the center of the cursor is within the dashed rectangle that is displayed about the measure when the hand grabber tool is temporarily selected by right clicking the mouse. The top (bottom) edge of this rectangle is positioned at one half-space above (below) the top (bottom) line of the staff. For example, for a 1-line staff the height of this rectangle is 1 staff space. Notes that are on ledger lines above or below the staff may not be clicked to open the speedy entry editing frame.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Allow Speedy Click Outside Staff to the Options section of the Staff Attributes dialog box.

Note: This option has been associated with staves rather than with the speedy entry tool because tablature "staves" are actually composed of several closely spaced 1-line staves, and for such staves one would want to be required to click very close to a given 1-line staff to open the speedy entry editing frame for the staff.
