Position Speedy Entry Insertion Bar at the Note or Rest that was Clicked
IWBNI the speedy entry insertion bar were automatically positioned at the note or rest that was clicked to open the speedy entry editing frame. As it is now, the insertion bar is not necessarily positioned at the note or rest that has been clicked to enter the editing frame.
For example, suppose that a given measure with time signature 4/4 contains four quarter notes on the middle line of a five-line staff. Further, suppose that the page, system and staff resize percentages are 85%, 100% and 100%, respectively, and that the view percentage is 150%. To open the speedy entry editing frame, one may click the plus-sign shaped cursor when the center of the cursor is within the dashed rectangle that is displayed about the measure when the hand grabber tool is temporarily selected by right clicking the mouse. If the plus-sign cursor is clicked when the center of the cursor is positioned on the point on the middle staff line that is at the horizontal center of the notehead that is on the third beat, the speedy entry editing frame will be opened but the insertion bar will not be placed on the notehead of the third quarter note. When the speedy entry editing frame is first opened, the position of the insertion bar is determined by the position of the plus-sign cursor relative to the notes as they are displayed in the speedy entry editing frame, not as they were displayed in the measure prior to opening the editing frame.
