Automatically Change Font of Lyrics when Default Lyric Font is Changed
IWBNI the font for each substring of the existing lyrics of a given type for which the font equals the default font, were changed automatically to match the default font when the default font for the lyric type is changed. Here, "font" means the set of values for the controls Font, Font Style, Size and Effects on the Font dialog box that is displayed when a Set Font button is pressed on the Select Default Fonts dialog box.
As it is now, one may set the default fonts for the lyric types verse, chorus and section by using the Lyrics controls on the Select Default Fonts dialog box which may be displayed by selecting the menu item Options>Select Default Fonts. When the default font for a given lyric type is changed, the font of existing lyrics (i.e. lyrics that are nonempty) is not changed. When text is entered for a lyric that was empty, the default font is used. Also, the Change Fonts plug-in which may be accessed by selecting the menu item Plug-ins>Change Fonts, may be used to change all fonts of all lyrics of a given type to a given font.
This feature would be useful in cases for which all lyrics of a given type are for the most part in a given font that matches the default and some special characters (e.g. elision characters) that are derived from another font are also used.
