Add Dashed Crescendo and Dashed Decrescendo Smart Shape Tools
IWBNI there were smart shape tools that could be used to create dashed crescendo hairpins and dashed decrescendo hairpins. As it is now, all smart shape hairpins are solid. Dashed hairpins may be created as shape expressions using the multiline tool on the Shape Designer dialog box. However, it is difficult to create hairpin expressions that match the appearance of other hairpins that have been created by using the smart shape crescendo and decrescendo tools, especially in the case when such hairpins are segmented across a system break.
This feature would be useful for indicating editorial hairpins. That is, hairpins that are added by the editor as opposed to those that are specified explicitly by the composer.
This could be implemented by adding buttons called Dashed Crescendo Tool and Dashed Decrescendo Tool to the Smart Shape Palette. Hairpins created with these tools would have all the same features as those created with the Crescendo Tool and Decrescendo Tool except they would be dashed according to the settings Dash Length and Dash Space on the Smart Shape Options dialog box.
