Vertically Center Hairpin Segments about Handles
IWBNI smart shape hairpin segments were centered vertically about their handles. Here, "smart shape hairpin segment", or more simply "hairpin segment" means one of the two segments that results from breaking a smart shape crescendo or decrescendo across a system break. As it is now, unbroken hairpins are centered vertically about their handles, but hairpins segments are not.

Specifically, note that in Figure 2, the decrescendo hairpin segment, and in Figure 3, the crescendo hairpin segment, are not centered vertically about their handles.
