IWBNI it were possible to numerically specify the time at which a given continuous MIDI data event is to occur when using the MIDI split screen. As it is now, one specifies such a time by clicking on or dragging a rectangle in the top half of the MIDI split screen prior to selecting functions such as MIDI Tool>Set To or MIDI Tool>Scale.
The Set To dialog box could be modified to allow one to specify a time value as well as the controller value. The time could be specified using controls similar to those that are available for Starting Time in Measure in the Tempo Adjustment dialog box. The initial value for this time setting could be derived from mouse clicks or drags as they are now. But, the user could edit these on the dialog box.
Similar changes could be made to the Scale dialog box. In this case, one could be allowed to edit the initial and final times over which the scaling is to occur. The initial values for these time settings could be derived from the coordinates of a rectangle that has been dragged as they are now.
Similar changes could be made to other dialog boxes such as Limit.
