Allow Clef Metatools to be Programmed
IWBNI it were possible to program clef metatools. As it is now, clef metatools are preprogrammed for number keys 1 through 8.
This feature would allow one to assign letters to clefs that are easy
to remember. For example, one might assign letters in the following way:
Clef Type | Metatool Letter |
treble clef (or G clef) | t (or g) |
alto clef | a |
tenor clef | t (or e to avoid conflict with treble clef) |
bass clef (or F clef) | b (or f) |
percussion clef | p |
This could be implemented by displaying the Clef Selection dialog box when one presses Shift+(letter or number key) with the clef tool selected.
