Allow Smart Shapes to be Created in Page View across Page Breaks

IWBNI, in page view, it were possible to create a smart shape that begins on one page and ends on a subsequent page. As it is now, smart shapes may be created that span systems that occur on the same page.

This could be implemented by allowing one to perform the following sequence of operations to create a smart shape that begins on one page and ends on a subsequent page:

  1. Select the menu item View>Show Multiple Pages.

  2. Adjust the display so that the two pages are visible.

  3. Select a tool in the smart shape palette (e.g. the slur tool).

  4. Double click and hold the left mouse button down on the current page to indicate the starting point of the smart shape that is to be created.

  5. While holding the mouse button down, drag to a subsequent page to indicate the ending point of the smart shape.

  6. Release the mouse button.
