Automatically Reshape Slur Segments at System Breaks
IWBNI, for a given smart shape slur that has been entered in scroll view, that has not been reshaped manually, and that occurs at a system break in page view, the resulting slur segments at the beginning and end of systems were automatically reshaped so that the height and inset of such segments would be determined by the length of each segment. As it is now, the height and inset of such segments is determined by the length of the original (unbroken) slur that had been entered in scroll view. Since each segment is shorter than the original slur, this causes the height of such slur segments to be too large. To manually adjust the shape of a given segment, one may select the menu item SmartShape>Attach to Measures, create a temporary model slur that is of the same length as the slur segment, and adjust the shape of the segment to match that of the model.
Note: If the two segments of a slur that occurs at a system break are on the same page, the slur can be created in page view. In this case, the resulting slur segments are automatically reshaped so that the height and inset of each segment is determined by the length of the segment.
