An Option to Select the Display Color of Tuplet Markings
IWBNI it were possible to specify the display color that is to be used for tuplet markings (e.g. numbers, ratios, brackets and slurs). As it is now, the display color of tuplet markings matches that of the layer in which they are contained.
Most tuplet markings must edited manually to obtain a desired placement. This feature would enable one to set the display color of tuplets in such a way that they would be easier to find.
This could be implemented by adding the following controls to the Select Display Colors dialog box:
----------------------------------------
Select Display Colors Dialog Box
[ ] [Tuplets]
----------------------------------------
The Tuplets button would be used to set the color of tuplets. A checkbox would be placed to the left of this button. If this checkbox is not selected, the display color of each tuplet would match that of the layer in which it is contained, as in the current version of Finale. If this checkbox is selected, the display color of all tuplets would be specified by the Tuplets button.
