IWBNI there were an option to hide the black handles that are displayed for tuplets. As it is now, five black handles are displayed on a tuplet as shown in the following figure:

These handles may be hidden temporarily by pressing the left mouse button on the (normal) white tuplet handle.

This feature would be useful for those who make all adjustments to the parameters that are controlled by these handles, by entering appropriate values on the Tuplet Definition dialog box or by using a plug-in.

This could be implemented by inserting a menu called Tuplet into the main menu when the tuplet tool is selected. A menu item called Hide Black Handles could be added to this menu.
