Flat Brackets for Unbeamed Tuplets that Begin at a Beamed Note

IWBNI, in the case when the notes of a given tuplet are not beamed together and the first note of the tuplet is beamed to the previous or next note, the tuplet bracket were flattened by default when Beam Side is selected in the Placement list box on the Tuplet Definition dialog box. As it is now, except in this case, tuplet brackets are flattened when the notes of a tuplet are not beamed together. To flatten a bracket in this case, one may select Manual in the Placement list box. This causes the bracket to be positioned above the notes. If the tuplet is to be positioned below the notes, the sign on the numbers in the Left Hook and Right Hook text boxes can be changed manually and the tuplet bracket can be dragged down.

For example, as it is now, when Beam Side is selected and the first note of the tuplet is beamed to the previous or next note, the slope of the beam determines the slope of the tuplet bracket as shown in the following figures:

It is proposed here that a flat bracket be used automatically in such situations as shown in the following figures:
