Allow a Default File to be Specified when Opening a MIDI File
IWBNI, on the Import MIDI File Options dialog box, it were possible to specify the default file to be used when opening and converting a MIDI file into a Finale file. As it is now, the default file specified on the Other Program Options dialog box is used for this purpose.
This feature would be useful for example, when one wishes to select a font set (and a corresponding default file) that is suitable for the style of music that is to be imported.
This could be implemented by adding the following controls to the Import MIDI File Options dialog box:
-----------------------------------------------------
Import MIDI File Options Dialog Box
Default File Name: _____
-----------------------------------------------------
Note: The Default File Name setting on the Import MIDI File Options dialog box would be used temporarily for importing a given file. It would not automatically modify the corresponding setting on the Other Program Options dialog box.
