A Smarter Crescendo Smart Shape

IWBNI there were a new smarter smart shape crescendo that be a conglomerate of the following 3 components:

1. The initial dynamic level (e.g. mp).
2. The hairpin shape.
3. The final dynamic level (e.g. mf).

This could be implemented by expanding the Line Style list box in the Smart Line Style dialog box to include the items Crescendo Hairpin and Decrescendo Hairpin.

Also, IWBNI this new crescendo could be attached to two notes (as is possible with a smart shape slur or tab slide). However, unlike a smart shape slur which may not be attached to rests, one might wish to attach a crescendo to a rest to indicate that a crescendo continues through the sounding of a particular note.

As it is now, Finale does not recognize the initial dynamic level, hairpin and final dynamic level as three related objects and the ends of a hairpin cannot be attached to notes. This causes one to have to manually readjust the length of a hairpin when the length of a measure changes to maintain a constant distance between the hairpin and the initial and final dynamic levels.
