Add Menu Items to Open Default Document and Templates

IWBNI there were menu items that could be used to open the default document or a template.

This could be implemented by replacing the menu item File>Open with a submenu called File>Open that would contain the following menu items:

The menu item Other would display the Open dialog box in the same way that the menu item File>Open functions in the current version of Finale.

The Default Document menu item would open the default file for editing in the same way that the menu item Default Document on the File>New submenu functions in the current version of Finale. The menu item Default Document on the File>New submenu could be renamed as Document from Default and would be used to edit a new document (which is not the default file) that has been created from the default file.

The Template menu item would open a template file for editing in the same way that the menu item Document From Template on the File>New submenu functions in the current version of Finale. The menu item Document From Template on the File>New submenu would be used to edit a new document (which is not a template file) that has been created from a template file.
