An Option to Open Documents at the Position that was Current when Saved

IWBNI there were an option to specify that documents should be opened using the view type (i.e. scroll or page), view percentage, maximized state, and rulers state as well as the page number or measure number and document position that were current when the document was last saved.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Restore Saved View to the New Document Windows section of the Other Program Options dialog box. When a document is saved, the current view type, view percentage, maximized state, and rulers state would be saved with the document. Also, the current page number (for page view) or measure number (for scroll view) as well as the coordinates of the point that is being displayed in the top left corner of the window would be saved with the document. If the option Restore Saved View is selected, when a document is opened, these saved settings would be used to restore the view of the document that was current when the document was last saved. If the document is a new document, the settings specified in the existing controls View Percent, View, Maximize and Show Rulers in the New Document Windows section of the Other Program Options dialog box, would be used.

If the option Restore Saved View is not selected, documents would be opened as in the current version of Finale, using the settings specified in the existing controls in the New Document Windows section of the Other Program Options dialog box.
