IWBNI the speed at which the Font dialog box is displayed were improved. As it is now, each time the Font dialog box is selected, there is a delay of 1.5 seconds before the dialog box is displayed. Note: This is an estimate of the delay time seen on a Pentium 200 with Finale 2000b running on Windows 98 (second release) with 275 fonts installed.

A similar delay occurs the first time the Font dialog box is displayed in Microsoft Word. However, in this program there is almost no delay when the dialog box is displayed again within the same session.
