An Option to Position a Mid-measure Clef Between Left Barline and First Beat

IWBNI there were an option that could be used to specify that a given mid-measure clef should be positioned after the left barline and before the first beat in the measure to which it is attached. As it is now, it is not possible to position a mid-measure clef in this way. When a mid-measure clef is dragged to the left of the first beat of the measure, the clef is automatically converted from a mid-measure clef to a clef change at the beginning of the measure and is placed before the barline. Also, the spacing operations Apply Note Spacing or Apply Beat Spacing automatically move clefs that are positioned before the second beat, forward to the second beat.

This feature would be useful when cue notes that require a clef change occur in the first measure of a system and one wishes to have a reduced clef sign (rather than a normal-sized clef sign) appear only within the measure that contains the cue notes.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Position After Left Barline to the Mid-measure Clef dialog box. When this option is selected for a given mid-measure clef and the clef is dragged to the left of the first beat or the Distance from Beginning of Measure for the clef is set to "0 EDU" or "1.00000 Beat", the clef would not be automatically converted to a clef change at the beginning of the measure and placed before the barline. Instead, the position of the clef would be set to 0 EDUs from the beginning of the measure. Further, when Apply Note Spacing or Apply Beat Spacing is selected from the MassEdit>Music Spacing submenu with Avoid Collision of Clefs selected on the Music Spacing Options dialog box, the clef would be positioned between the left barline and first beat of the measure using spacing settings for Before Clef and After Clef on the Music Options dialog box.
