IWBNI it were possible to snap smart shape handles to grid and guide lines. This could be implemented by adding Smart Shapes to the list of items in the Items to Snap to Grid and Items to Snap to Guide dialog boxes.

This feature would be useful, for example when horizontally aligning hairpins or trills that appear in more than one staff in a given system.
