Crosshairs for Smart Shapes
IWBNI there were an option to specify that vertical and horizontal crosshairs should be displayed when a given control point of a smart shape is dragged. Here, control point means one of the regions within the bounding rectangle of a given smart shape that may be dragged to adjust the position of some element of the shape.
This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Show Crosshairs to the SmartShape menu. The crosshairs would be similar to those that are displayed when moving an expression handle, articulation handle, text block handle, or a handle associated with a special tool.
