IWBNI descriptive information about the current selected measure region were displayed in the status bar.

This could be implemented by displaying information at the right side of the status bar when there is a region of measures that is selected. For example, if the current selected region consists of staves 3 through 5, from measures 4 through 120, the following information could be displayed:

3-5,4-120

The suffix p, which stands for partial, could be appended to the first or last measure number of the range of measure numbers in the case when the beginning or end of the region does not include the entire first or last measure. In the example given here, if only a part of measure 4 were selected, the following information could be displayed:

3-5,4p-120
