An Option to Display Resized Staves as such in Scroll View
IWBNI there were an option to specify that all staves that have been resized should be displayed as such in scroll view. As it is now, with the exception of resized notes, the displayed size of all music in scroll view is the same as that which would be displayed in page view when the page, system and staff percentages are all 100%. Specifically, resized staves are displayed at the same size as non-resized staves.
This feature would enable one to have music on resized staves be displayed as correctly spaced in scroll view. Note: Staff resize percentages are used when spacing is calculated. As a result, the spacing for music on reduced staves will be too tight when enlarged to normal size for display in scroll view. Likewise, the spacing for music on enlarged staves will be too loose when reduced to normal size for display in scroll view.
This could be implemented by adding a checkbox option called Use Staff Resize Percentages in Scroll View to the Other Program Options dialog box. For example, with this option selected, a staff that has been resized to 50% would be displayed in scroll view 50% smaller than staves for which the resize percentage is 100%.
