IWBNI it were possible to directly edit a given ossia measure by using the same tools and methods that are used to edit its source measure. As it is now, a given ossia measure is edited by using the dialog boxes Ossia Measure Designer, Page Assignment for Ossia Measure and Measure Assignment for Ossia Measure, or by editing its source measure using various tools.

With this feature, one could for example select the speedy entry tool and click on a given ossia measure to have the speedy entry editing frame appear on the ossia measure whereby the notes, rests and ties of the measure could be edited. Or, the measure tool could be selected to display a measure handle at the top of the right barline of the ossia measure that could be dragged to change the width of the ossia measure. Or, the expression tool could be selected to display a handle next to each expression that is displayed in the ossia measure.
