Allow Space Between Accidentals and Notes to Depend on Accidental Type
IWBNI it were possible to specify the distance between accidentals and notes as a function of accidental type. As it is now, the control Space Between Accidental and Note on the Music Options dialog box may be used to globally adjust the space between all types of accidentals and the note with which the accidental is associated. Also, the accidental mover tool may be used to adjust the horizontal position of any accidental. Alternatively, the width of accidental font characters may be modified by using a font editor such as Fontographer.
This could be implemented by replacing the edit control Space Between Accidental and Note on the Music Options dialog box with a button called Space Between Accidental and Note. This button would display a new dialog box called Space Between Accidental and Note that could contain the following controls:
