IWBNI additional ruler tick marks were inserted into the ruler when a large view percentage is selected. As it is now, for view percentages above 100%, the distance between tick marks on the ruler is:

This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Ruler Options to the View menu. This menu item would display a new dialog box called Ruler Options that could contain the following controls:
