IWBNI on the Macintosh platform, files that were created with versions 1.x or 2.x of Finale were displayed on the File Open dialog box like those created with more recent versions of Finale. As it is now, 1.x/2.x files may be displayed by setting Files of type to All Files. Alternatively, a utility such as File Tweaker may be used to modify the file type and file creator of 1.x/2.x files.

Also, IWBNI 1.x/2.x files were automatically opened in Finale when their icon is double-clicked. This functionality exists for files created with more recent versions of Finale.
