Entering Rests with the Hands-Free MIDI Mode of the Speedy Entry Tool

IWBNI it were possible to enter rests when using the hands-free MIDI mode of the speedy entry tool. As it is now, the Caps Lock key may be pressed to exit the hands-free mode at which point a rest may be entered by pressing a number key or inserted by pressing Shift+Number Key.

This could be implemented by entering a rest whenever a user-defined key on the MIDI keyboard is pressed. In the hands-free MIDI mode, all notes played are entered with a prevailing duration that is specified by pressing a number key before playing notes. When the user-defined rest key is pressed on the MIDI keyboard, a rest of the prevailing duration could be entered. A menu item called Speedy Entry Options could be added to the Speedy menu. This menu item would display a new dialog box called Speedy Entry Options that could contain the following controls:

--------------------------------------------------
Speedy Entry Options

MIDI Key for Rest in Hands-Free Mode: ____
--------------------------------------------------

Alternatively, this could be implemented by entering a rest whenever the Shift key is held down while playing a note on the MIDI keyboard.
