Add a Control Point for Height to All Smart Shapes
IWBNI it were possible to change the height of any type of smart shape. As it is now, this may be done with smart shape slurs, dashed curves, crescendos, decrescendos and bends, but not for trills, trill extensions, 8va/8vb, 15ma/15mb, double-ended brackets, dashed double-ended brackets, brackets, dashed brackets, lines, dashed lines, glissandos, tab slides and custom lines.
This could be implemented by adding a control point to the top center of the bounding rectangle of all smart shapes as in crescendos and decrescendos. When the control point for height is adjusted for a smart shape that is composed entirely of font characters (e.g. trills, trill extensions and glissandos), the font size of the smart shape could be changed. For smart shapes that are lines (e.g. lines, dashed lines, tab slides and custom lines without hooks), the height control point could affect the thickness of the line. For shapes that have hooks (e.g. 8va/8vb, 15ma/15mb, double-ended brackets, dashed double-ended brackets, brackets, dashed brackets and custom lines with hooks), the height control point could affect the length of the hook.
