IWBNI it were possible to subdivide rests by using the rhythmic subdivisions plug-in. As it is now, this plug-in subdivides notes, but not rests.

This feature could be used, for example to subdivide all half-note rests into two quarter-note rests in a selected region consisting of 3/4 bars, or to fill a given empty bar with rests of a given duration.
