IWBNI it were possible to specify that a duplicate object should be placed immediately after the original (i.e. the object from which the duplicate is created) when using the Duplicate button on a selection dialog box. As it is now, duplicates are placed at the bottom of the list.

This feature would make it easier to maintain groups of related objects within selection lists.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Insert Duplicates Below Original to the Program Options dialog box. This option would affect the behavior of the duplicate button on the following dialog boxes:

• Articulation Selection
• Chord Suffix Selection
• Custom Arrowhead Selection
• Executable Shape Selection
• Expression Selection
• Percussion Map Selection
• Repeat Selection
• Shape Selection
• Smart Line Style Selection
• Stem Connections
