IWBNI it were possible to automatically create a specified number of evenly spaced guide lines above and below a given staff. As it is now, such arrays of guide lines may be created one guide line at a time.

This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Create Guide Lines to the Staff menu that is associated with the staff tool. Prior to selecting this menu item, one could select the handles of the staves for which guide lines are to be created. The Create Guild Lines menu item would display a new dialog box called Create Staff Guide Lines that could contain the following controls:

The unit Space in this dialog box that may be used to specify the distance between guide lines would equal the space between staff lines in the selected staff and would depend upon the resize percentage of the page, system and staff. That is, it could vary from one selected staff to another.
