MIDI Velocities of Notes Created by Copying

When music is copied from one bar to another and as a result of this process, notes are divided into tied pairs, IWBNI the MIDI velocity of the second note of a tied pair that is created by this process were assigned the same MIDI velocity as the first note of the tied pair. As it is now, the default MIDI velocity (Playback Controls>Base Key Velocity) is assigned to notes that are created in this way.

The velocity of the second note of a tied pair has no effect on playback. However, when the default velocity differs from that of the first note of the pair, these default velocities are unwanted distractions when MIDI velocities are displayed in the MIDI split screen.
