IWBNI there were a utility to apply the appropriate number of bowed tremolo slashes to all notes in a selected region.

The utility would attach the three articulations /, //, and /// in the following way:

/ to 1/16th notes,
// to 1/8th notes, and
/// to quarter, half and whole notes

Note: Bowed tremolo notation requires 3 slashes per note. Three different articulation symbols must be used to accomplish this.
