IWBNI it were possible to specify on the Extract Parts dialog box that layers of the selected staves should be extracted as parts.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Extract Layers to the Extract Parts dialog box. Also, the following items could be added to the existing list of identifiers in the File Names section of the Extract Parts dialog box:
