IWBNI it were possible to play all visible layers when using scrub playback.

Scrub playback is activated by pressing Ctrl+Space while dragging the mouse across music. As it is now, only the active layer is sounded when using scrub playback.

This could be implemented by adding a checkbox called Play Layer with Scrub Playback If Visible to the Layer Options dialog box.
