Rename Pixel on Movable Items Dialog Box as EVPU
IWBNI the units associated with the entry Arrow Keys Nudge Items by on the Movable Items dialog box were renamed from pixel to EVPU. The word pixel which is derived from the phrase "Picture Element" is generally used to refer to the smallest unit of resolution in a image or display device. In Finale, the arrow keys nudge items by multiples of an EVPU rather than a pixel.
For example, under the following conditions:
1. The monitor is configured to display at a resolution of 640 by 480
pixels,
2. The view in Finale is scaled to 1000%,
3. The page has been resized to 85%, and
4. The staff has been resized to 100%,
nudging a handle by 1 unit (i.e. an EVPU) causes the handle to move by 3 pixels on the display.
