If there is only one note-attached expression attached to a given note, IWBNI Finale automatically selected this expression when the note is clicked (i.e. darkened the expression's handle). More generally, IWBNI all of the following types of objects were automatically selected when the thing to which they are attached is clicked:

• A lone tuplet, articulation or smart shape that is attached to a given note.
• A lone measure-attached expression, text block or mid-measure clef that is attached to a given measure.
