Keyboard Shortcut for Hard Space

IWBNI there were a keyboard shortcut for entering a hard space in Finale on the Windows platform. The keyboard shortcut could be available when using the Edit Text and Edit Lyrics dialog boxes, when editing a text block directly on a score, or when using Lyrics>Type Into Score.

As it is now, to obtain a hard space on the Windows platform, one may enter Alt+0160. Or, a macro program may be used to assign this key combination to a simpler keystroke. On the Macintosh platform, Option-Space may be used to enter a hard space.

Two programs that support hard spaces (also called nonbreaking spaces) on the Windows platform are Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Word. The keyboard shortcuts used in these programs are Ctrl+Space and Ctrl+Shift+Space, respectively.
